I have 5 mounted, 2 each side, mounted to the frame between the front and rear tires, and 1 mounted near the stock tire carrier under my 4runner. For being just 1 led they are bright. But given the price I would sudgest these instead http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=817058

I have (6) led rock lights from roundeyes and they're bright (blue) as heck. Its suffice to say that the rock lights had been beaten, submerged, scuffed badly, and they work flawlessly.

i have had both round eye and i just got the vision-x.

round eye LEDs spread the light very nice, have a good way of mounting them and the wires are tiny and easy to hide.
i had 4 white ones for rock lights and they dont do more than just glow under the truck a little bit. they arent for seing at night they are for accents and a little glow under the truck.

i just got the vision x kit in green. it comes with 8 pods for $120 a remote about the easyest wire job you will ever have. but the mounting system sucks, i used double sided tape instead of like the round eyes rivets. they are more of a spot light LED than a flood. and every thing is plug and play wich means you cant really shorten the wires, and the wires are huge.

my opinion buy them more for a camp light/glow/accent.
thats why i got green this time and not white.
vision-x is good for the price, but i think if i had the money to get 8 round eyes i would
