I am posting this for our co-worker Chee :wave:


1986 Custom Cab Toyota Truck turbo built crawler.

Motor:
-22R-TE
-Boosting 10 psi
-pulls strong and runs great & reliable

Drive train:
Marlin Crawler Dual Ultimate
23-spline 2.28 gears in first case, 23-spline Chromoly Competition 4.70 gears in second case
R151F turbo trans
New Aisin clutch from Marlin Crawler

Front axle:
-SAS 83 Front axle
-Marlin Crawler UM07 Chromoly 27 spline Birdfields
-5.29 Ring and pinion
-ARB air Locker

Rear axle:
-Wide axle (new)
Differential rebuilt last month by Marlin Crawler using all new parts
-turbo/V6 Diff (new)
-5.29 Yukon ring and pinion (new)
-ARB air locker (new)
-Rear axle rebuilt kit with Japanese bearings (new)
-Rear disc brake conversion (all pro)
-Marlin Crawler new full face diff armor, the first truck to have it on
everything on the rear axle is all new built by Marlin Crawler

Suspension:
-Alcan springs front
-Alcan springs Orbital Eye rear (possibly one of the best leaf springs)
-front and rear shackle kit

Interior:
-4 Runner dash
-custom door panels
-pioneer stereo
-infinity tweeters and door speakers

tires:
37.5 super swamper ssr

Misc:
-York on board air (compressor needs a new belt)
-on board shower (not installed)
-Tcase E-brake (all pro)
more other stuff

passed smog on the 17th of this month, i bought this truck with some problems with it and just barley finished the rear axle cause the rear end blew up on me. paid lots of money for the rear ARB locker, diff housing, axle housing and whole setup, if you want a unique crawler, this is the crawler for you, turbo and custom cab, very rare.
selling the truck to get a family car.

i think wheel base is 132 and there is 158xxx miles on the motor but pulls strong and healthy

what do you mean by long distant? the wheel base? theres really nothing that needs any attention, except welding back the new cat converter that i have back on, and a stock idler pulley for the york compressor.

I've got a buddy that collects custom cabs. About a year ago he had a built one done up similarly to this stolen and he never got it back. He might be interested. I'll send him the link. Great looking truck, good luck with the sale.  :beerchug:

To answer if this truck is relieble yes. I know this becouse its my old truck i built it and sold it to Chee. Just befor i sold it i took it on a 1,6oo mile round trip with no problems . The wheel base ie 137 inches. Sorry about the rear end Chee . GLWS

That is a sweet truck. I would love to have something like that, but then again what's not to love, it is a toyota.

this is a bad ass truck, lots of space and different, put my kid in the back and still have lots of leg space.  power on this truck is actually good, i compare this trucks power to a v6; just my opinion. i know people say the turbo 22rte sucks but you have to drive and own one to appreciate it
