Need New ECM Arghh!!

Just got a second opinion and my ECM is bad in my 2000 Tacoma xtracab TRD 4x4. It cannot be fixed and needs to be replaced. Where would be the best and cheapest place to obtain one? Junkyard may be the call here... but if I can get a new one at a decent price, I'd rather swing for that.

I was quoted from Toyota anywhere from $1000-1700

where are you located, im in Napa CA, and i have one from an 01 tacoma, pre-runner with a 2.7L. it worked fine in my truck i just needed a manuel one. i would let it go for $200 (same as wrecking yards)if it will work for you.

car-part.com  http://www.car-part.com/  put in the info and it will give you locations of local salvage yards that have what you need.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

thanks guys for the info.
I need the ecm for the 5vz (3.4 v6) and also manual tranny. I'll check car-part.com and a few other sources
