Do you have a third brake light, you might have a short from a leak through that? Is there any water in your truck? Start checking the harness I think all those share 1 conector.

nope no 3rd brake light.. it was weird how it went out. i was just sitting in the parking lot at carls junior and i was putting my interior light bulb back in... and everything shorted out like 5 mins after that

sounds like something opened...try removing the dome light alltogether (not just the bulb) and see what happens.  Maybe you have an open circuit somewhere.  (IF it was grounded I'd think it would've blown the fuse...)

Start with the last thing you tinkered with and undo it!

Dont jsut check that fuse too check all ur fuses i blew the same fuse but it wasnt blown when i looked at it i had a different fuse blown and when i replaced if most of the stuff worked again so go through adn make sure all of ur fuses are good if they are just take apart the last thing u did like everyone else said and jsut go backwards.
