well, ive been gone for a while...i started a business, and been working full time on top of that...at least 80 hour weeks, last week i did 119

but i return with a new toyota

i still have the 92 runner with the 2jz....but- i needed a new car for the wife

today i bought a 2000 4runner limited :D

it has factory 265/70/16 package-which means 4.30 diffs and 1 inch taller springs

it came with-a full ARB bumper with 10k pound warn in it
warn driving lights

old man emu 2.5 inch lift

and 285 70 16 toyo open countrys :D

its a factory e-locker car also :D

as a limited it has the bose surround sound, cd, leather, heated mirrors and seats, wood grain dash, sunroof......yada yada
it has that cool AWD/4WD/4-LO t case in it.

thats about it, i love it.

tommorow begins the mods- its getting a full Borla exhaust, 5% tint
a full cold air intake (the factory box is broken)
i will be doing a lot of clean up- those of you the know me know im a clean freak.....oh and its getting the infamous TRD Tundra brake swap  ;)

it is an auto- but i needed that- my wife cannot drive a 5spd any more after the accident
:outtahere:
ill post pics tommorow night

just figured id update a little

BIG ASS BRAKES....... holy crap they are huge, they barley fit in the 16 inch wheel

driving them is nice....kinda like a body building chick- still smooth and attractive...but you can tell theres more power then necessary

crawlerdan

more...i blasted teh wheels and painted them...they where a little rough

pumkin toy

looks great Dan!  those brakes are big

i think its half way there, and you are right....an 80 series axle would suit it great

it already has 4.56s, an elocker, and a 4 inch lift ;D

hi marlin friends- ive been out of touch for a few months, i bought a farm, been working like mad cleaning it up and running it, been driving long haul heavy freight as well.and running the subaru business! no toyotas right now. i sold the last 4runner and bought the wife a  new hyundai santa fe, nice car.

i also bought an f350 4 door long bed 4x4 for farm work-its strange owning a high pinion 60 and not wheeling it

as for automotive play- i inhereted a 1949 dodge coronet that my great grandpa bought new, its undergoing a numbers match restore.

just wanted to drop a not to remind yall that those of you i know are always in my prayers- hope all is well-
