stock rear locker

someone mentioned to me that toyota put a stock toyota electric locker in the rear diff., can anyone tell me if this is true, and what year and model it was? :idea:

Sometimes you can find great deals on them at junk yards but it doesn't seem to be a common find.  You would want to find a 96+ V6 Tacoma with TRD package or for a high pinion you would look for a 96+ FJ80 Land Cruiser.  I am not too sure about all the details on the Land Cruiser.  Mine work Great.
You can put them in your '92 without too much trouble.  A little grinding and welding, then some wiring and thats pretty much it.

Thats might be a tuff item to find at a wrecking yard due to its a popular item...But good luck  :up::chug:

There is 2 places here in Sacramento Ca if you dont mind shipping T.A.P. and T.T.P. they are dimantlers for Toyotas sorry I dont have the #'s
