i may be the only who had this problem but i doubt it. in my runner i have the sr5 buckets. when offroading i have a hard time seeing over the hood. if they sat an inch higher dam it would be sweet. anyone got any idea to give these seats some lift, safely? i have a small upper body and long legs which i dont think is helping

You could put about one inch of flat washers under all four corners and some longer bolts :driving:
1991 Daihatsu Rocky, 3RZ-fe, Marlin super heavey duty clutch and pressure plate, Marlin W56-C-HD, duals, Marlin twinstick, three link front with Fox AirShox, 35's, Toy axles, 5.29:1, ARB F&R etc.

Skinny_Pedal

that would work for the back mouting spots but not up front

You could get a seat lift and you really don't need to lift the front of the seat.

You'll have to make some kind of bracket to raise the front of the seat or do what brainless said and sit on a pillow.

I put buckets from a '94 4-runner in my '81. Had to custom build the mounts, used 2" square tubing for the new fabed brackets. It lifted the seats up that "2 inches" and I love the improved viewing but now I bump my head more.
Beat to fit, Paint to match
Need a bigger hammer and more paint.

the dude with the 4crawler.com website had a way to lift his seats in his cheap tricks section i think. i diddn't read it, but he has some good methods of riggin, and a siick RIG.
