Found 84 toy and I have some questions

  I found an 84 toy  w/loads of miles 340K+   but it has a crate engine w/10K on it. I've wheeled w/datsuns and I know what 2 look 4 when shopping 4 one but What I need 2 know is what is there 2 look for on toy's. Like what kind of tranny, transfer cases, rearends 2 look out 4 (good   or bad )

The trans suck but it will work until it breaks.   Just dont jump it!  That trans doesnt like it when you jump and reverse will die a horrible death.  Check for rust in the frame and cab mounts other than that just give it a once over.

  the trans was replaced when the engine was and I know the x-cab is rusty the bed is gone it has a long azz flat bed on it that I plan on cuttin' about 3 feet off of it I'll try 2 get sum pix 2 post. I'm havin' a hard time catchin' him home.   I'ts got 35's on it so I'm  it's got got 5.29 in it.

Thats exactly like my truck except for the miles.  is it an sr5?

sounds like a winner,  dont worry about the miles, mine has 372000 
drive it 70 miles to work everyday
