I was driving home on a 55 mph highway, and I crested over the top of a hill and there was a car stoped half in the road. I didn't have enough time to react and cliped the back of the car. My truck ramped the car and fliped end over end twice then came down on the drivers side in the middle of the road. The truck skided 200 ft on its side. It actually welded the drivers door shut to the rear of the cab. I fucked up my back but I'm still kickin. Just half to deal with the pain. I couldn't work for over a year. I miss that truck, it wasn't the way I wanted to get rid of it. I was getting ready to swap full size axles under it (front and back) and slap a set of 36's on it.

I got just enough to pay the truck off. The insurance company wouldn't give me extra money for the etra's I put into it (lift, rims, tires, nerf bars, grille guard, KC lights etc...)

There was a 93 year old lady driving the car I hit and she died a week after the accident. So, they listed it as a fatal accident and it went under investigation to charge me with vehicle manslaughter. Of couse I was found not at fault but for being involved in the accident I was stuck with a Fatal Accident on my inssurance ( which is worst than a DWI) In NY state it stays on your inssurance for 3 years and 3 months. So I couldn't buy a new truck because I could not afford to pay $3500 a year for inssurance w/comp & collision on a new truck.

Wow dude Everything about that story sucks.  I guess we all get attached to our trucks, but the truck CAN be replaced.  Glad you were not hurt any worse than you were
