Im getting info together on doing this to a 92, got any detail pics of your front shackle setup?

No, I didn't take many pics of that part of the process.  I just used the IFS frame jigs, and it came out good.

Thanks guys. I got a little more done yesterday.  I got the 4.70's installed in my rear case. Now all I have to do is cut the factory 2wd cross member out and drop the engine and tranny in....

Possibly. I will have to see how far I get on getting my engine and tranny dropped in.  You still have to get the rear shackle mounts built.

Got some more work done on the truck. I got the powertrain dropped in about a week ago. Got the front shocks and hoops burned in yesterday.  I got the radiator and hoses all put back in, and I got the hole for the shifters cut and shifters installed.  This thing is finally coming together. Just got a few more loose ends with the engine to tie up, install the front d-shaft and build the rear d-shaft and this thing will run.  Oh and get the windshield replaced....

Well I finally got to take the truck out for a small shake down run.  It was suppose to be an easy trail with no hicups... So much for that.

Other than this, the truck did fairly well.

Had a good time sitting passenger. Very excited when it flopped. Oh yeah and when you ran over my foot. Again thanks for letting me ride along now I need to get back to work on mine.

So how did it happen?

Well, I was crusin along and found this sweet crack to which I stabbed my driver front into. The rear case we stuck in 4 high for some reason so I couldn't climb out of it.  So a buddy pulled me out and as I was trying to drive around the crack on a real off camber piece of rock I flopped it over.

Ask and Yee shall receive....  Carnage wasn't too bad, the door took the brunt of it.

That's the worst case scenario.  I'm going to put the porta power to work on saturday and we will see what it does

That sucks! I like the bobbed long box trucks, hopefully you can salvage the cab and make it work.

Took the truck out for another shake down after I pushed the dent out of the cab and door.  Here are the only 2 pics we got of it.  We went out this last Saturday and ran a big trail.  I will try to get some pics up from this weekend as soon as I get them.

Pics don't really do it justice but here you go.

haha. Yeah for the time being. Until I can afford to put a windshield in it.  The funny thing is that the truck does already have AC....

Doesn't look to bad.... That's a bummer tho. I can't believe you flopped it the first time you took it out.
