Any one know what to prep metal with before spraying with primer?  Its sanded down to the metal and now onto the next step.

when rattle canning a toyota, hell i didnt even sand mine down and it came out awesome.  the secret is to wash your vehicle with dish washing soap to get rid of all of the oils before you do it.   The paint and primer should stick awesome....  :beerchug:

if your just painting  rattle can, dont waist your time and money on etching or bare metal or sealing primer...or even "preping"... rattle can is a quick paint job, done cheap... prolly gonna end up doing it over, cause if you are rattle caning it its prooly not a show rig!...
as far as if your using a spray gun, then be careful!!! you got moisture, pressure, type of gun, quality of paint.. and much more affecting factors to how your paint job will turn out, and i would deffinatly get with someone who knows what the hay is going on... it took me about 7 paint jobs in a refinishing shop before i did one that was  of hi Quality
84 toy, bobbed, chevy rears, rear toy fronts, locked f/r, 5 in of lift, 5:29s, rebuilt 20 r, 34 in swampers, 8000 lb ramsey to take me where the lead foot is to heavy!!!...
future mods... crossover steering, and dual ultimate crawler !!!
this is the KRITT'R GITT'R express... so get in, sit down, shut up, and HANG ON
