look for a W55 from a celica of 2wd pickup, it should bolt right up with minimal modifications

does the l52 not also bolt up with minimum mods?  i was thinking (just from the recent research ive been doing) that it was the same length, uses the same crossmember, and will bolt to the engine.  maybe with small tunnel mods...

OR is the w55 a much better trans all around?  this is a 2wd but its heavy, has a camper on it and i do a lot of hill climbing.  the 20r is totally rebuilt, cammed, weber, full exhaust, and no smog.

how do you feel about the set up and its use?
thanks

i had a w55 in my celica  and it would light up the tiires (also a 20R)

the L52 is a 4x4 transmission as well as the W56 and cant be ran in the 2wd trucksince it wouldnt have a 2wd tail housing
