oh i almost forgot... running u-joints in a toyata axle is a terrible idea. ive seen them blow twice. which isnt a big deal cuz people brake axles.... but what it does to the inside of your toyota knuckle when it blows is a big deal.

I've been running the Yukon eliminator kit for about 5-6 years now, and have never had a problem. Granted, I don't try to break my junk, and if it looks like it may damage something, I'll back out and take a different line. I'm running 35's and ARB's F/R. I've seen people break stock, marfield and longs, but it's usually because of how they're driving. I have no experience with "dirty30's", so can't comment.

Im very late posting on this thread as I dont come on here much but figured id give my opinion Ive ran every type of birfs out there basicly longs are the best and dirty 30s are not far behind if any the birf eliminator isnt even close.  I had 1 longfield come apart after 2 years of beating and I broke 2 dirty 30s so far the trick to keeping any axle together is run steering stops and all the clips are a must.  The dirty 30s do not steer as far so you have to run steering stops or you will break it by banging into rocks at full turn.  As for trail gears waranty they replaced everything very quickly and tried to help me figure out why I was busting birfs.

This is cut and pasted from TG's website. About the hub gear question and length of warranty FYI. All things equal i would choose Longs.

Default Warranty Question
Can't find it on the website - what are the limitations to the "No Questions Asked, Lifetime Warranty"

Just that you have to be the original purchaser, warranties are not transferable.

Besides that we don't ask any questions, we simply verify that they are yours and ship the replacement part out.

Is the warranty still valid if a hub gear fails?

No hub restrictions. We will most likely have you in the system, but you never know, strange things happen with accounting systems, it is ALWAYS good to have a hard copy of your invoice.

You should have these invoices on everything you purchase for your truck for insurance, resale value, or in case of theft.
