Harness and Ignition ???????????'s

I was wondering how many points an 1984 Sr5 4-runner harness has or how I can tell.  I'm talking about the whole thing engine, cab, fuse box everything.  Also I was wonderin if MSD Ignition is a good thing to get and what all I would need to get if it is a good thing thanks folks.

POINTS? not any on a 84.  MSD is ok , I put one (MSD6) on my 83 just cuz the stock box was $$$   butt liked the way the stock box worked better. butt it's ok for half the price.
