???

If it's your driveline  making the vibration take it off and check the u-joints or just have a driveline shop replace the u-joints.

I have never ran a welded rear end but maybe your tires are off balance or un equaly worn or you should check the tire pressure. Just some simple ideas.

I second what swapped89 said about having the u-joints checked out. If you would like to look at the joints, grab a flash light and visually inspect the u-joint. Try to move the driveshaft back and fourth up and down. There shouldnt to much play and the caps shouldnt wobble around while inspecting. Good luck.

If so, most U-Joint shops can do the work in a day or so for around $50 plus U-Joints

I had similar symptoms that ended up being a seizing u-joint. I did the visual check for a sloppy joint and they looked ok.

I finally pulled the rear drive line and drove in front wheel drive and the vib went away. One of the u-joints was so tight I could not move it by hand.

definitely have your ujoints checked.  with nothing in the bed of my pickup it has vibration when taking off from lights and turning with a welded rear.   never had any vibes at speed tho.

With you replacing the u-joints, was it due to this problem?

I had that same problem I did the joints then turns out it was the wheel bearings. If yer located around Gresham sandy or Portland Oregon I know a guy that does it for 50$ a side. If u supply parts. He's a way cool old timer. Been doin this stuff for years
