Hollister March Run, March 27, 2010
9:30AM Meet time at the gate. Air down and ready to hit the trails by 10:00AM

If you arrive later than 10AM, and we are not at the entrance gate to Upper ranch, catch us on Channel 31. I may not have cell service, but if you do not have a CB, PM me and I'll send my cell number...

If this is your first time to Hollister, there's plenty of stock trails. The "hardest" one that we will probably run is called the Jungle, which a stock truck can make it through. It's a tight trail. You don't have to run it if you don't want.

Address to the Ranger Station is (for mapquest):

7800 Cienega Road
Hollister, CA

After you pay the ranger station $5, you will recieve a gate code and a reciept. Jump back on Cienega Road and out of the ranger station hang a right. Go down about 1 mile and the entrance to Upper ranch will be on the right.Air down/Setup here...

Shock towers are over rated, you don't need em. 

on the positive side, working 12 hours a day right now is a good thing.

Accuweather.com is saying Hollister didn't recieve any rain in the last 24 hrs. Should be 70 on saturday

No worries. I actually just got my case done to hold both of them without getting banged up in the garage

30 seconds into the trip, ouch.

Tank trap was NASTY. I made the first three waterfalls. Got to the fourth and got slammed into the rock wall. Destroyed my mirror and my ego. I walked further up and it was only worse. No tracks at all. Deep ass washouts. It would have swallowed me. Then had to back down one waterfall and turned around in the nasty mud.
