Yep, I'm part of the Over the Hill Gang.  That pic was last Saturday in front of my house.  I was forced to put on  the Jeep only parking sign!     It was worth it.  They are all a great group of experienced 4x4 drivers to hang with.

ya. i have 31s and a lockr in the rear and did just fine you should be good.!

I would at least have a pair of chains on you.  More so for the road.  Highway Patrol can ask you to chain up anytime on 168.  If you do not have chains, they will turn you back down the hill.   Personal choice if you want to use them on the trail.

There is space for a couple at the trail entrance.
We should be on the trail around 8-8:30.

I turned around at another road about 1/4 mile passed the entrance. Is it okay to park there? I think the trailer would take up that whole trail entrance area.


I will likely be there around 11am   cuz the other person I'm bringing doesn't want to leave before 6am from the BA. But even if I leave by 5am I won't be there till 10. So, I'll see you all on the trail.

Today was awesome...not very capable right now...pics will come later

Yesterday was a sweet day of wheelin. Went up in 3 rigs, mine was the least capable, on 33's with no lockers. The other 2 rigs were on 35's and both had 1 locker each. I aired down a little to much at the start and blew 3 beads barely into the trail, got aired back up to 10PSI and didn't have anymore problems with the tires the rest of the day. I got stuck a couple times , nothing to major.

Happy B-day to the B-day person.. We went up to the gate and on the way back didn't stop by the party, sry about that. Looked like there was a pretty big group of people on the trail , tho you couldn't tell , there did not seem to be any problems with traffic.

As usual the trail etiquette was AWESOME!. It seemed like people with rigs and equipment would come out of the woods anytime someone even looked like they might need a hand or some help. All in all was a great time.

That was a flippin great group of people up there. Proof that once your up on the trail Toyotas and Jeeps can get along!!! Watchin those lighter weight toyotas just floatin across the snow is amazing.  Their was even a 4runner towing a snowboarder!!! Way cool!!!

So far we already have a small group going back up on the 20th.

Lotz of great pics to post.  Viewed some great snow rigs.  All were awe :driving:some as was that Hemi Jeep!  Small group headed back up again on March 20th.  By then this snow should melt some and allow us to go further up the trail.  EVERYONE is welcome to meet again.  It snowed up there which was great and we hit snow and rain coming back down Dinkey Creek Road.  Lets keep this thread going so more know about the next run in 2 weeks!!!
