ok. well im going to try to do the trail. i dont care id i dont make it to the tower. my little toyota can do pretty good. we'll see how it does! ive got a locker in the rear and its stock. so it will be interesting.

Can you tell me where it starts and how to get there from Fresno?

ya from fresno you take 168 all the way to the four lane. act like your going to shaver but turn off onto dinkey creek road and stay on that for about what 10 minutes? then you make a left onto rock creek road and in the summer after off of rock creek road you will see a sign that says bald mountain trail head. i dont know if these directions are the greatest but that is pretty much where it is. if you have google earth, type in bald mountain, shaver lake CA, it will lead you pretty much where it is. if anyone has a better understanding of how to say the directions, please speak up.
