Kurtuleas has invited Team Marlin Crawler to participate in a Race-A-Thon for Land-use for the 2010 King Of the Hammers event! We are now taking pledges to land-use organizations depending on how far our Team F-Toy makes it in the race! We are giving you the amount to pledge per mile completed and you choose which organization to donate too!

The KOH is 135 miles long this year and keep in mind that our Team is 1 of only 4 other teams that have completely finished all 4 KOH events including the the pre-run! So if you pledge 25-cents per mile, and our team completes the event, you will donate $33.75 to the organization you picked!

Easy Instructions:

  • Pledge any amount you'd like per mile finished in the Marlin Crawler Team F-Toy during the 2010 KOH event, and pick the organization you'd like to pledge to.
  • Pledges must be posted here before February 12th.
  • After the end of the event, we will reply to this thread to let everyone know how well (or not so well! :ack:) our team did!
  • We recommend sending your pledge amount to your chosen organization by March 1st.

This is a fun and exciting way to do your part in helping keep public lands open to the public!

Thank you from Team Marlin Crawler! :turtle: :turtlehead: :usa:

I wish I had more money to donate, but as it is I can barely afford gas

Let's get some huge donations going! This is a great time to support trail organizations and Lord knows they need our help right now!!

Good idea, I pledge a bonus $20 to Rubicon Trail Foundation if our F-Toy finishes in the top 15

So my total possible pledge amount is now $67

$0.25 per mile succeeded or $40 flat if/when John James completes the race in full. So that's a total of $33.50 if he doesn't complete, or $40 for completing.

All to RTF.
