sank truck, wont idle or run right now?
« on: Jan 26, 2010, 02:24:47 PM »
so... i got stuck in my truck in deep water, the engine was mostly under water, but not completely. the cab was half full, the computer was under (its a 92 22re pickup), we pulled it out and it started right up. i ran it only for a few seconds to get it on the trailer and it seemed fine. i let it dry out all day today and tried to drive it and it was OK a first but got bad within a few minutes... wont idle or stay running. the check engine light blinks 2 times, then pauses, then once more. WTF??? i need to fix it, its my DD  :help:

Next time you do that, pull the spark plugs and crank the motor over. You risk serious engine damage. Change the engine oil, transmission, transfer case, and diff oil.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?
