Interesting clutch problems.
« on: Jan 10, 2010, 05:32:08 PM »
OK so to start recently i install a dual case and a 6" lift, took it wheeling a couple of time and no problems. Clutch grabs great. then yesterday i felt a thump and now i cant disengage the clutch. today we replaced the slave cylinder and still the same problem. the slave cylinder pushes the clutch fork about 3/4 an inch, is that enough? Has anyone heard of the clutch fork breaking or the clutch fork not gripping the through out bearing.

something broke me thinks,  i would first check the pedal linkage and the master,  if that looks ok, pull the trans out and see what broke

I've had the springs on the disc break before, making it harder to push the pedal and nearly impossible to get it in gear.
