well i guess i could update this thing. just for you who dont know, first gen is mattlosch's now and i have his white 2nd gen longbed i put my axles tires and duals under it so specs are

88 toy longbed v6 with a bad rod knock aand burns oil
dual cases with 4.7s in rear case
completly flat belly'd with bombproof tcase mount
inboard tg 5 inch rear springs with maybe a total of 5 leafs in the pack
tg 3 inch front springs
40 inch mtrs
driveline tech rear driveline
5.29s f/r spool rear loc rite front
dirty 30s

plans for change
with my tires at 20 pnds im at about 26 1/2 frame height i am shooting for 24 inches, im gonna do 3rd gen rear springs and 63 rears
and as for motor, pulling the oil pan replacing bearing and raising the motor to be level so the back stops getting now enough oil, and i wanna do a partiel exo, trucks down right now because i sold the rims i had for not enough offset now just waiting on funds to buy new rims.

Looks good with the 4dees!  Before I tore my axles and suspension out, I was sitting at 24 3/4" to the frame.  So I would say that your number of 24 is pretty realistic.  Its just really hard to get the leaves to work well and still sit that low.  The way mine was setup, the front springs were basically flat at ride height and I only had about 2" up travel in the front before bottoming out the bump stop.

that should work pretty good.  Yeah the link setup is a bit spendy, but I'm so sick of leaf springs right now, I just had to get rid of them!
