I was thinking this was a pretty sweet deal for an engine/trans/t-case... but with a cracked manifold? How do you crack a manifold like that though?

dude i got mine with the entire runner harnesses computer gas tank lines everything for 300 bucks. that is rape

i went to a mechanic and saw the rolled runner in the back and offered him 300 and he went for it. runner, motor everything is there... i dont have to worry about missing pieces

Where are you guys getting these great deals? I've been sorta searching, but those are to good to pass up. I want to get the whole vehicle from a insurance auction. I need the gas tank and lines and everything else.

I got mine for 200 for everything and the guy wanted to give me more stuff like fuel tank, etc.  He even pulled the motor, exhaust and bellhousing for me and loaded it in my truck while i did  the wiring.  It did have a couple burnt valves due to a bad manifold.

i got an entire roller 96 taco for $800 for my first swap, and found everything to do my second 3rz swap for $1200.  most of the cast manifolds are cracked, i swapped on a mini header from the 02+ 3rz's.  got one for $80
