air injection and a header

so i bought a header and plan to install it on my carbed 22r. it has air injection, can i remove the whole works or what should i do? im going to be doing a bunch of work this weekend so i was also wondering what else i should take off if anything while im at it? i live new york and my truck is old enough its emissionsn testing exempt.

if its exempt and you dont plan to move i dont guess it matters :dunno:

i guess what i was asking was what do i do when i hook up the header should i block it off or what.its got thoose pipe and run behind the head. do they goto egr just wondering what todo ?

block them off they go to the egr.  since it's exempt take off all that smog stuff..   get some metal plate. take the tube lookin thing and trace the outline on the metal plate.  take a plasma to it and bolt back on.  make sure it isn't too thick else it won't bolt on with the stock exhaust studs.

i think LC sells a egr block off kit. as well as a water block off kit.

alrighty awsome thanks guy's!! any idea's as to what i can rip out that wont mess up my stock carb or anything else? :think: i just see alotta vacum line's and crap all over..i will check it out i just dunno anything about the emission's junk haha
