My guess is that the truck is better off being swapped for a better one. This whole project will likely eat upwards of $1K by the time you are done. And that's if you do all of the work yourself.
if your going to part it out, I'd at least hold onto the trans/transfer and the rear end for a first gen project if you go that rout
The rear end is already under my truck. I swapped it when I bought my ifs rear end. The wheel cylinders went out on the turbo rear and I told my mom i would save her some money. I am going to try and find a ct26 turbo or a clean running first gen what ever I find first. I found a ct26 turbo but it was from a MR2 and i don't think its the same. I also found a clean 82 locally for $1,700 but someone was in line first and it sold.
I called the guy that is selling it and he said its not the same as the supra turbo.
