just got done and needed to test the rig. 1987 4runner, 22re, t100 automatic, doubler, 4.7 transfer, 5.29 dana 60 welded rear, 5.29 dana 44 soft locker front, marlin sas front kit with toyota rear leaf springs, chevy rear leaf springs, etc. she works AWESOME!!!!

bigarms23

So is this Sean, or Jeff?

I wasn't aware that either one was even on any of the bulletin boards.....

slabcs

Was that you driving around on a flat tire?
Relentless

jspd234

this is jeff and yes that was us on the flat tire at the end of the day! no worries we had a spare

jspd234

bigarms23, we have some little ol' 35's

the 35's are perfect for my rig because at full compression, no rubbing of sheet metal. we had 39.5's at first but they hit real bad. could probly go to 36's or 37's with minor rubbing but no need to tear up stuff .

Nice to know you're on here Jeff, I'll keep that in mind.

My personal favorite part of your build is the exo with the hoisting points, and the winch! The winch was priceless, FOR ME!!!

It was a good day, (for those of us that made it, LOL) a little wrinkled sheetmetal never hurt anybody! I need to get better co-pilots who can operate a digi, about the only pics that got taken that turned out were of me on my side.....

splasher

A little blurry, but it's you flopped to one side, me flopped to the other:

so i can have a same size spare, a new radiator hose, a new rear axle bearing and seal and we are ready to go!!

spare tire carrier fell off when i tried to open it up at home! it broke at the weld where killer customs welded cross bar in 2 pieces to the carrier upright!(poor design) gotta redesign a more stout piece and outfit rig with all the necessary tools(hi lift jack, shovel, misc hand tools, etc.). she still needs some work done to her like installing rear bump stops, relocating shock mounts, etc, etc. but thats all stuff i can do to her at my own leisure. as for the exo and winch points(we like to call'em eyeballs 'cause thats what they look like)that was mine and seans design incorporated into the exo. it works awsome for getting sean into and out of. can't wait til we fab up the hand controls for sean to drive !!!!!! it'll be so cool and yet funny at the same time!!!! had fun with you guys. lets do it again!!!
