I love the Marlin forum
« on: Nov 26, 2009, 12:50:20 PM »
I just got a new tacoma so I was looking around on some other forums for tacoma info (my screen name is the same on their forum) and WOW I can't believe how rude some people are :shocking: I don't feel the need to give out the names of the other forums but I will say this... The Marlin forum has some of the most helpful and nicest people that I have ever talked to on any forum. Thanks to all of you for making this a great site

Yes, Yotatech are a bunch of people  :hammer: that just want to argue about searching for threads and the Mods aways delete threads and posts if they dont like them. Death Couger on YT is a major A hole. also, the rules are rediculous and the website is never helpful to me. Marlin forums are the BEST!

I agree marlin is the place to be. Pirate has some awesome info hidden in there and I see a new idea good or bad every time I'm there. YT I feel was a good starting point ( helped me figure out that horrible Ifs noise at full tilt) but to me the info is more about factory spec fixes on YT. Here you get people that can turn a wrench and want to modify for better performance. As well I enjoy MC and YT for their language rules not found elsewhere. I find it interesting that I ended up here because it is really a brand's forum.  But marlinites rock like none other.

Also thought I would ad that since I purchased an iPod touch I seem to read EVERYTHING that goes on. Can anyone help with counsiling?

Yea, I pretty well gave up on all the other boards several years ago. If I can't find it here, I always know who to ask, and just about any question (no matter how obscure), and I'll get a reasonable answer, or several good suggestions. I have made friends on this board that will last forever. :beerchug:

Hey No Power, gearbox from the "other" board here. Just letting you know I finally got to the photos I was going to take. I didn't want to waste my time if you weren't gonna see it!

I completely get why people stay off that 'site, as do some of the other users there as you can see just below that post.
