bought SUPER cheap R151!!!

I was searchin for some chevy parts for my girlfriends truck on Sunday at Pick N Pull, and of course I still have to shop for myself. How could I not? I was looking for any Toyotas but I didnt have my hopes up because I know they get raped there pretty quick.

I guess some of the "cash for clunkers" cars ended up there, and i ended up coming across an 86 or 87 turbo pickup. But the government just had to do that stupid crap where they run sodium sulfate or something like that instead of oil in the motor to completely destroy it. So I peeked in the cab and found that it had the super sweet R151 turbo tranny still in it.

So I walked hella fast to the front and asked how much they charge for trannys and they said $140. So I ripped that thing out and brought her home, so she can get prepped for to be dropped in my 82 yoter. Man did I get a hell of a deal, it still even had the tranny and tcase shifter.

I'm picking up 2 3rd members tomorrow one is a factory 4.88 the other is an elocker from a 97 Taco that needs r&p for $250 I'm stoked!
