What does it take to run this trail without much body damage? Is it cheating to run it downhill?  :disturbed:

Please post pictures!

the biggest thing with tank is there are ledges that hang out on the drivers side and the trail is rutted to that side so it drops you over onto your rain gutter against those ledges and jacks your roof up

if you tried with your truck right now, you would destroy it.  :gap:

:gap: That's what they're saying but I'm still looking for a way.

I've heard of locals doing it in stock'ish rigs with little or no damage. Is this true?

axled89

all i've herd about before was the roof thing.  whatch out!!
i love oregon wheelin.

My buddy is a really good driver in his Jeep, tons and 40s, and he didn't beat his rig on tank but it took some damage for sure. I would not attempt it without more armor. It is not hard, just puts you into the sheet metal.

It's the next step at HH. I've done most of it.

Must be a one tough trail. I know pics don't do justice but anybody have any pics of the trail to look @.

They ran it in Top Truck Challange..... Ide say a stockish rig would be a huge mess. I have never ran the trail ive just seen pics. Looks pretty hard core to me.

Here are a few pics I took.

This one shows what a truck with no exo will have problems with.

Hey I know that guy :)

Oh wait its me.

It all depends on your skill, bear minium is locked up at both ends.  I have seen it done without damage in a stock jeep rubicon.  However, I only know one person who can pull that kind of thing off.
The pictures KRT posted are of me coming down tank.  I still put it on the roof twice.

It a little late notice, but the coalition crawlers and I will be out at hollister this weekend if you want to roll tank with us.  We have a couple of really good spotters in our crew or you can ride with me.   :gap:

Wermz84

Ah yes what a day that was.  :yesnod:

Go with him Jrock.  I'd go and hang out but i'm in AZ right now.

Have fun!!

Right now I think creek trail is harder then tank.  There are some wicked holes after the last round of storms

locked 4x4

Has the trail gotten worse in the last couple years???  I had a buddy with a yota pickup on 33's with a locker in the back, gears and he went through it twice without winching and he didn't make it sound that bad.
