I wouldn't hold on to much hope, Dan. He doesn't answer any type of correspondence these days.

I post up on pirate when I see a stolen post to email me for free anti theft instructions.
I don't post in open, as to tell everyone, since I think some thieves are reading.
sure a theif could email me,  :smack:but they are usually too lazy, IE: they steal instead of work for there $$ :nonono:

please email me, as I need to send wire sheets, do not pm, I can't attache them to pm's

I do not sell kits, just some free info to help my toyota wheeling friends :ladys-man:

There's no such thing as an "anti-theft" device.

There are anti-theft deterrents.

Back in 1989 my boss's $70,000 Porche was stolen in the middle of the day.

The building we worked in was in downtown Los Angeles.

The building had underground parking that could only be entered through a 24-hour guard gate.

He parked in a gated card-access only executive parking section.

His Porche had the most sophisticated "anti-theft deterrent" system available.

He went out to get in his car around 4pm on a week-day and it was gone.

The police assumed the thief was able to start and drive the car out, defeating the anti-theft deterrent system, or it was hauled out on a trailer pulled by a pickup.

Tricking a guard to get through a gate would have been easy.

With the help from a couple of engineers at Hughes Aircraft Company, I designed and installed my own anti-theft deterrent system on my 1967 Corvette.

It cut the fuel to the engine.  So you could start it. It would run for about 30 seconds and run out of gas in the double-pumper Holley.

The car would then be in the middle of a street or stopped blocking some exit.... not where a thief would want to be.

It would have been nearly impossible to find the fuel cut-off valve or the relay and switch that controlled it.
