01 Quad cab cummins with ATS tranny and torque converter.  I am running the TST power max and quadzilla and both in fuel economy with intake and 4in exhaust I am right on par with others.  I get 21-22 empty and 17-18 towing the land cruiser on the trailer but it isnt a car trailer it is a 26ft roll back dual tandem equipment trailer so twice+ the weight of car trailer.  The biggest fuel mileage change was going to 315's with the 4.11 gears my milegage went up it doesnt like the mileage pulling over 2K RPM.  I figured actual mileage instead of the liar others have spoke of.

I think my cummins might be. Lemon. Towing about 6k up to barnwell mountain I only got 12mpg and without a load I am getting 17. 2006 auto

Mine gets 17 unloaded freeway at about 70mph.  thats with bald tires.  most people i talk to average about that too.  when i bought the truck it said it was getting 24mpg and hand calculated was 15mpg with it on crazy larry mode.  gets a couple miles better with it on performance.

I recently got a all stock 94 Powerstroke 2wd 5speed and it got 13-14mpg towing my Buddy's Yota up the hill a couple weekends ago. He says that I scare him towing because I tow faster than he would normally drive his rig up the hill. lol

03 chevy 1500, 4.8 with cal speed and performance engine and trans dyno tune, 4l65e tranny, 35's with 4.88's, avg. 16 mpg, and 12mpg towing.  i thought about getting a diesel, but the cost of maintenence and the amounting of towing i do(about 5-6 times per year), i couldn't justify it.  diesels are nice though if you can afford them.

My 2008 6.4L Crew Cab 4x4 Long Bed gets about 16 unloaded on the highway, 12-13 towing our wakeboard boat or the car trailer.

Lots of nice power and comforts for the long hauls, but it is a bit thirsty compared to other Diesel's we've owned...

I now got a 00 f350 v10 with cabover loaded with water, propane, spares, tools, camp gear and loaded buggy on dual axle trailer.  Im scared to see what mpg I will get, when before I only got like 14 or so empty commuting.

I get 9-14 mpg empty 7-10 mpg loaded with my rig on the car trailer. I do live in the foothills tho so I have alot of hills. Its a 6.0l with the 4l80 and 4.10's on 285-75r16. The 6.0l never wants to shift in tow mode and it has all its torque at high rpm's. Sure my utility bed doesnt help.

Love my 01 Cummins. Has a few upgrades with an auto.  It gets about 15mpg towing and 20 unloaded. All the power I need to tow my toyota.
