How much $ to install hi-steer???
« on: Sep 14, 2009, 08:16:10 PM »
Hey guys, just bought all my hi-steer stuff (minus box). I'm looking for someone that can do the install. Anyone have a shop/garage that can do this type of work? What would it cost me?

I don't have the tools and would appreciate someones experience when it comes to the install.

Thanks!

I'm in Merced and in San Jose.

There is a bunch of guys in the area that can do it.  I am a little north of ya and I just put my hi steer in last thurs.  Tho I dont make the pretties welds my hi steer held together thru the con this weekend.  If no one else wants to do it then let me know. Doesnt take that long if u have the bracket for mounting the ifs box.

Then its a cake walk.  Just need to do a little trimming on the fender well sheet metal to make the pump fit way forward then its just welding a gusset plate on frame to make sure it doesnt break.  Rest I am sure you would be able to do.  I may be heading to san jose soon but if you need help I am sure I can.
