The IDEAL 250 watt grooving iron is $70 from speedway.  The house brand 300 watt iron is $40 but you have to buy a head for it and the head is a whopping $13 so you get a hotter iron and you get to choose what head to get and save $17.  It was a tough choice for me, I just opened my box from speedway that contained the 300 watt iron and #4 head.  Looks like the other 3 tires get to match now.

I did mine as well, turned out really well.  The tires I had were close to the end of their life, and grooving them definitely gave them some more miles.  I was worried on the roundup that the tires were going to be to worn, but they worked awesome   Grooving tires is definitely the way to go :yesnod:

Couldn't tell you.

I never wheeled my iroks before i grooved them, but i am really happy with how they work after i did.

Thomas said the grooving made his iroks a bit better than before.

And lennie said he liked having his tsl's grooved.
