1400 class truck
« on: Aug 31, 2009, 12:00:16 PM »
I would just like to give a status report of my Marlin tranny. 4 races over 2500 miles 0 problems. I'm running heavy gear oil from redline. Thanks for the great tranny.

Gregg.

ok here are some photos of my last race. We placed fourth. I was in contention for first but got a little boost happy and over heated the motor. I had to pull over and let the truck cool down. Truck looks like an rc car now with those big 35" tires

this is a Trophy Truck

their based off of full sized trucks. they have full fiberglass bodies, full tube chassis 37-39inch tall tires, well over 20inches of wheel travel in the front and 30 plus in the rear, they have 700hp and up v8 engines. they are every desert racers dream to have

thank you Cap. I didn't want to to look trough the 58!!!!!! entries!!! and that's yesterdays update it'll grow more with a few weeks to go!

ALSO! their is word that Marlin might be showing up to the race on contingency! it's unofficial but a very good likelihood.

Battle at Primm was off the hook....I ended up finishing 9th and that was with a blown up tranny (hint hint  :yesnod:)  I just paid a grand for a full rebuilt tranny a few months ago and it didnt even last 500 off-road miles and that includes racing and just playin in the desert....I need a better built tranny!
