which walk is harder?  iron or star? i dont like either.

The walk into Star Lakes is much harder than Iron Lakes. We were at Iron Lakes first and decided to go to Star Lakes in hope that the trail was closer to the lake because we use the lake for drinking water.   :shake: 
The walk down to Star Lake is about 3/4 of a mile. There is a good trail for about 3/4 of the walk, the last 1/4 of the walk is over loose rock and large boulders.
Here is a picture of the last 1/4, and a marmot if you can find him.

The walk down to Iron Lake is about 1/4 of a mile and has a good trail all the way to the lake.
