Wheel Studs

Where can I buy new wheel studs. Part number anyone? I have checked and noone has them. Was trying not to go through the dealer for em. But if i have to. 88 Yota 4x4
If you see it, its for sale.

napa has them in stock most of the time..  Do a google search..  Dorman seems like the maker of one of the studs

The dealer has them and are not really expensive but man there are a ton of choices so measure twice and buy once.

Rockauto.com has the dorman studs I'm pretty sure.  They are at a good price too

Dorman as OK stuff, it is available at places like Napa, I think the part number is 710-264. They have an ISO rating of 10.9 which is supposed to be the same as Grade 8, but I have to tell you I've gone through about 20 of these things, I dont know if the threads on those things are just crap or what but I manage to gum them up pretty good, I've had to replace the front ones about 3 times. Yes all of them. I learned the hard way the secret to keeping them from gumming up is to us anti seize liberally.   :hammerhead:  I wish to God, ARP would make some.

I think Front Range is carying alonger version of the stud, think its a Chevy cross over. But you have to buy new nuts too.

Personnaly I've had better luck with the stock ones, they are an 1/8" longer than the Dorman's too.  :attention:

Why does marlin not sell them/Have some hard core ones made? ide buy em

Most don't have problems with stock ones.. Nice and stout..

I bought my 88 with IFS and 31's i hab 4 broken studs. one per wheel. I don't know how more people don't break more...
