2wd and 4wd header the same?

Trying to find out if a header for a 22R that i have will fit my '82 2WD 22R.

and yup, i searched. didnt come up with anything relevant.

the 2wd headers are tucked in higher, so they are close to the bottom of the body,  4wd headers hang down a little more

you can use a 2wd header on a 4wd but a 4wd header will get dragged off in a 2wd

That header tucked in higher than the nwor I'm using now, but the pisser is you can't fit it down beside the manifold to get an idea.

you can use a 2wd header on a 4wd but a 4wd header will get dragged off in a 2wd
after a sorta halfassed measurement it will hang a lot lower, but i couldnt tell if it was too much. the Torsion Bar will still be lower if it isnt in teh way of the header.

yea... that the problem im running into. i dont wanna pull of the old manifold to find out the new one wont work. :dunno:
