That was fun,  just spent the last half hour reading that, I want em more than ever now...  I would have gotten a set but the largest they offered when I was buyin was the 39.5 and a little wide for me...  but that was your typical pirate thread, some moron with no experience running his mouth!  There are alot of people on there that love them, and I have not heard any real complaints from people that own them...  And the few I have heard are from people who never aired down lower than 10psi or didnt run them "through the break in period"....   Not for everyone but I would love a set!
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

I love mine.

I have the 33x13.50x15 Rocker. I wish it was a little taller.

Wheeling with them is awesome. The truck goes where I point it. On road is so-so. At 70, it sounds like you're riding in an airplane, and they shake the truck a bit, but it's all tolerable. I understand that they are a bias off road tire, not a high performance road tire.

I've had no issues with them, other than bead problems. The last wheeling trip i aired down to 7 psi, without beadlocks. I got dirt in one bead and had to break it down and clean it to hold air. Then I completely lost a bead coming down a hill. The sidewalls are a bit stiff, so that probably contributed to the bead issues. I ran 10 psi the rest of the weekend and they held just fine.

ok but what do they cost i :dunno:  say 35s and 33s

Here's a good idea of cost: http://www.4wheelerssupply.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/468_516?osCsid=0915c320f03a27d429be45ec5de14a56. Or you could call up Mike Green at Pit Bull directly. He's an awesome guy!

What is the width of your wheel? Could that be contributing to the bead loss? I was advised to stay away from them by our local toyota guru..he said they suck on road, chunk and are not the right compound for MO wheeling...dont have any personal experience with the tires though

is what i need but how do they compare 2 BFG MTs  :dunno:  witch i have now

Night and Day. BFG's are radial, harder compound, and are designed with street manners in mind. The PB's are bias, softer compound, and are designed to work off road, mostly disregarding road manners.

8", so they are pretty narrow for that width tire. They do kinda suck on road, but I didn't pick them to DD on. I can tolerate bad road manners to get good off road performance. Mine have chunked slightly, and the corners of the outer lugs have started to round, but I wouldn't say it's doing it any worse (or better) than your common Super Swamper.
