I was wondering what options I have for running a toyota 5 spd and chain driven t-case behind my YJ with a 4.2L and peogout tranny. What adapters are available, and what toy 5spd would be best. I heard some AX15 bellhousing will mate to a toy tranny.
Thanks,
Eric

the ax15 is basically a R151f out of a v6 yota.  It will bolt behind the ax15 bellhousing just fine but youd need to use the ax15 input shaft as its longer than the yota counterpart.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

will a chain driven toy t-case bolt up to the R151? Thanks for the info.

Oops i meant a r150f but yes v6's never came with a gear drive trnsfer.  They only came with a chaindrive cse wich helps you beings your front driveline is on the wrong side.

No adapter would be required, since the R151 comes with the chain driven V6 t-case?

I plan on running either toy axles or dana 44 passenger side drop, so it wouldnt be a problem.

Then go for the gold and get a r151f out of a turbo truck with duals behind it.

but would the AX15 bellhousing adapt to the R151F?

WTF just happened?  Oh well. The ax15 is a R series yota trans so the same rules apply.  If ya wanna have a lot of fun use a bellhousing from a 91+ dakota 3.9 5 speed.  It will let you bolt a yota trans behind a small block mopar. :gap:

Incorrect.  The 151 comes with a 23 spline gear driven case.

The chain case was available behind the 150.
