Ive been looking around and i cannot find it...

the o-ring is (obviously) number 6 on this picture. the bulkhead fitting is on the axle housing and is part of where the air line connects to the locker.
the part number of the o-ring is BS104N70........ BS104 is the part number and N70 stands for nitrile 70 which is the type of rubber.

where can i pick them up??? :help:  thanks :beerchug:

^^Maybe, maybe not.  I went to parts stores as well as plumbing when I was looking for one a few years ago, and no one had the right size.

Try giving ARB/USA a call in WA, and talk to the tech department, they should be able to sell you just the O-rings.

That's a nice diagram of the bulkhead fitting...I have stored that one on my computer for a future arb install link  .   As said earlier, you can get those fat grommets from arb directly  their number is 1-888-427-2872  They only cost about 10 cents each so might as well get a dozen for you and your buddies. I tried my best to find an equivalent here in Chandler at Ace super-stores and good ole TrueValue and nothing is that "fat".

i ended up going to a hydraulic store called Power Industries, i got 4 of the exact o rings for $1. but apparantly theres another leak beyond that o ring inside the axle housing. its a good thing ARBs are so awesome, otherwise i might be annoyed by the finikey air lines

You may have ate through the hard line.  I don't know why ARB chose to swap the bulkhead from one side to the other, now requiring the hardline to cross over the ring gear.

I have 2 ideas for getting around the issue and will probably document it on my next ARB gear install in Sept.

idea #1---possibly find enough room to drill and tap the brass bulkhead to the driver's side of the ring gear Much shorter run but room is tight.

idea #2----   drill/tap the bulkhead where ARB recommends but secure the tubing in 2 places to 'rigidize' the tubing from moving and route the tube in the small space between the ring gear and gasket mount surface.  Adding 2 clamps means adding 2 more drilled holes in the carrier also. I might use some "cushioned metal wire clamps like this....

A member here did something similar to your #2 idea,
Old style vs New style ARB's
.  He routed the hardline up over the top of the ring gear along the 3rd member housing, drilled 1/16" holes in the edge of the housing and wired the hardline to the housing.  It was posted about 2yrs ago.  I haven't had any issue w/the new system in my '91, it routes up over the gear instead of behind it, but it did take several attempts to install it and not hear/feel the ring gear rubbing against the hardline.

my hard copper line inside the housing is fine, i take a lot of care to make sure its not going to get touched by anything. i have to pull the diff out to find the leak...

my hard copper line is a little mis-shapen right where the o ring seats on it that i just replaced. im pretty sure thats why its leaking. im just going to trim the messed up part off
