A $250,000 boat...
A $100 rusty trailer...
Loosing the boat and trailer down the ramp because your hitch is the wrong one...
Diving under water to chain up tongue to tow out...
Having to call in a welder to weld frame so you can get it out of the water...
Most of town is watching...

And you still think your gonna get this piece of crap on the road to get your prop shaft fixed in a town 1.5 hours away!

And yes that is a concrete weight on there.  The tail of the trailer put 1" grooves in the asphalt.  The trailer was made by somebody out of scrap steel.  It has a :pokinit: load of holes in it.  And yes the frame is not straight.  He was trying to get his boat towed on the cheap, and now it's gonna cost him big time now.   :shake_head:

if you can afford a 250k boat, why cant you afford a decent trailer?

I see people pull the nicest boats on rickety trailers, rickety boats on nice trailers, and nice boats on some bitchin trailers.  It often is the older guys with the money who cheap out on this kinda stuff.  There's always somebody you can borrow a trailer from!

There would have if he hadn't pissed everybody off in the county.   :smack:  He is one of these guys that belongs to a group of fishermen who think that commercial fishing should be banned.  And the sport fishermen should be the ones to catch and sell all the fish.  So, he basically is the butt of all the jokes in town, and this little incident he did last week just confirmed how much of a tool he is!  :rofl2:

Yeah, but without having to pay for all the permits and stuff that goes along with commercial fishing.
