Camper shell regular cab pickup

My friend is moving and has a camper shell that is for a short cab pick up.  It is old but in ok shape.  I will try to get some pics soon.  He is going to throw it away if its not gone by July.  Located in Fresno.  It was on my brothers 84 pick up then he gave it to my friend who put it on his 99 tacoma.  It is a fiber glass top.  No keys.

what year truck did it come off of? Is it fiberglass or aluminum?
