Topic: Many Appologies to everyone

Hey guys,

Sorry about the forum today. I had discovered that I had not properly updated the database during a previous backend upgrade, and just decided to run the upgrade script. Now this normally takes about 3 or 4 mins, but after about 3 hours of hard work and having to send emails to the techs who run our server and having them reboot the entire machine 3 or 4 times, I finally got everything back online.

The problem was a simple php version conflict which I will address soon. But for now I got the forum back up and operational. I hope everything is in tact, I even tried installing a database backup which failed, and then I got really super worried, but alas, the server had its way and everything appears to be back to normal.

Sorry for the whole day of down time, I am to blame

ex its actually 8:55 but MC clock tells me its 7:55

ok, I got the time fixed but now the shout box is off an hour.


The problem is that I will be out of town for the entire day tomorrow and won't be any near a computer until late, late tomorrow night.

I have to go now, but I will check this thread before I cash in for the night.

Hope nothing else is messed up, I am not entirely sure what the heck happened..
