$399 Chromoly Birfs

Anyone know anything about these? I asked the seller who makes them and what kind of warranty they have. No response so far.

hmmm..... couldn't tell you.  i'd be carefull buying something like that, biggest reason being its on ebay.  definitly wait for a response from the seller or try contacting them first.  for couple of hundred bucks more you could bobbly longs and never have to worry about it again.  just my

I've got Longs. I was just wondering what the deal is with these.

there was an issue with these not too long ago.... they supposedly sold them, and said longs in their title.... search pirate... they were talked about.... i beleive they were made by empi..... they are definately stronger than stock, but they are not bobby longs

anybody read the bottom part?  says for a toyota land cruiser, but the top says a 79-85 truck.  might want to know what you are actually buying.

I got a friend running his 27 spline with bobbys inner shafts.For awhile he was running 40's with no issues.He is now running 38.5 sx's.There is a thread on pirate about these. Bluetoyz is his user name on pirate.

I asked the seller who makes them and what kind of warranty they have.

Got a response. They are made by EMPI and have NO warranty.

Goerge Stuckey at CV unlimited in SC is the one selling these on ebay. I bought a set of the $99 27 spline ebay birfs from him well over a year ago. I have beat the living crap out these birfs and longfield 27 spline inners with 39.5" TSLs and 38.5" SXs. I have had no mercy on these birfs and they have held up great. I was a little leary at first, but after what they have held up to so far, I'm not scared at all to hold it on the floor with new 38.5s. They might break tommorow, but I can't complain if they do. Regardless of the naysayers they were well worth the money and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set from him.
