87 4runner tcase ?'s

has anybody done a twin stick install WITHOUT REMOVING the tcase from the truck? i have a 3" body lift on as well so i was thinking it might be possible because of the extra room around the tcase. anybody with actual experience doing this, please let me know , thanks! jeff

you can install it without taking out the tcase but its not going to work. because you need to take apart the Tcase to remove the interlock pin its on step Step 72  :beerchug:

thanx 4 tha info....i believe i saw that where the shaft has to move outside the end of the case to remove the interlock pin, thanks again
