t/cases

ha. i need help with my 89 toyota. i took the stock t/case out and then put in dualcases  from a older truck they are top shift t/cases.   but the cable thats down there won't reach the hole to plug the gear oil from coming out.  is there a part or somthing i'm missing??   maybe an adapter??   i think it's my speedo cable.  thanks for the help.
