MOBILE HOME tires
« on: Mar 10, 2009, 07:58:33 PM »
I have a 19 ft tandem axle car trailer that I haul my toyota truck with maybe 10 times a year.  I was given some free brand new tires but they are mobile home only. If they can hold up with a house on them why wouldn't they work for a truck on a small trailer? I know they're "illegal" but, would anyone ever say anything? Run 'em or not?

DO NOT try and mount them on a normal wheel :slap:

Other than they say "MOBILE HOME ONLY" right on the side wall,  I was talking to the guy who owns a tire shop to try and track down some 14.5 rims that would fit the tires. He was telling me that they aren't legal to run on ever day apps. He said you probably wouldn't have a problem unless there was an accident, yada yada.
