OK, So here are my many questions about the process I am in. I have a 88 Toyota Pickup. The cab and bed have been pulled off, the drive train removed for rebuilding and all the IFS stuff cut off. This is going to be a full rebuild of the truck. Powder Coated LIME GREEN!....

I am going with the Marliin Crawler 6" SAS and REAR lift. I know when dealing with leaf springs the weight of the vehicle is important but i am unsure if that is the case, sense the mounting points are already set? My worries the front shock tower, and rear axle drive agle will be off? Does anyone know if it will be ok? or of any problems i will face? I want the frame powder coated so i need it done before i put it back together!

I have also read that with the 6" lift the front spring hanger should be pushed 3/4 inches forward. Is this true with the marlin kit? Does anyone know a rear lift write up?

Next is a problem with my front axle. When i disassembled the front axel i noticed the some rust on the "steering ball"?! I have sanded it with 600 grit and it looks ok but still has some very slight roughness will this be ok? help!!!

Anyone know a good welder in the Tacoma Wa area. I am a OK welder but just don't know if i trust myself that much!!!

Thanks for all your help!!!!

the front solid rear mounts have to move forward to keep the tires in the same place, its a bit more than 3/4" if i remember, something like 6"
