swamper boggers

Im looking for some new tires but i dont know what I want to get.  Are the boggers very good on the rocks.  Im looking for a 35x14or15 wide what would you guys run.  I need it that wide cause Im so top heavy.  I put a stupid body lift on so I need some wide tires so I can stay upright.

Do you drive much on the street? Boggers work pretty good in the rocks, but if you have to drive down the road much you'll hate'em. Some of the other swampers come in wide sizes, and are a little better on the to and from the trail stuff.

I agree with Ball of fire.....their good tires off-road....but on road they suck and if you push it you might get 20 g miles out of em

well there cheaper than any other swamper in that size.  no I dont drive very much just maybe 20 miles a week on the pavement.  the rest is out crawling.  20k thats better than my thornbirds that I had on it a couple years ago.  but i did have ifs then and kept breaking things throwig it out of alignment

boggers work good in every terrain,mud/sand/rocks/trails... you name it! I got 40 inch boggers on my yota and I love 'em!but if you drive on the street alot, you'll wear them down quickely.

I drive my 35x14.5's to work 25min and back every day.  I don't even need my radio any more...they make better music anyway!

I've got a set of boggers as well.In the 40 inch flavor,ant they work awesome...I use mine on the rocks,the mud,the sand,dirt trails,and they work really good,so if you dont drive that bad boy on the street much,I'd say go with :bowdown:boggers....The 35 inch boggers come in 35x14 and 35x16.

how wide are your 40s cause if you get to wide dont you start haven a hard time steering through rocks and stuff like that.  cause the 35x16 would be bitchn as hell on my truck I dont think I would be able to steer.

I had the same size you are looking @. I grooved them a bit and they were sweet offroad. My truck was a daily then and they did alright on the road. If you pay attention to your air pressure on the street, you should be able to get 20-25. IIRC, I ran 12psi front and 10 in the rear.

My 40s are 18.5 wide,on 15x10 inch wheels,and it's not hard to steer...You shouldn't have an issue with steering.

nah, steering should'nt be a problem. I got the same size 40's as my brother,(infernaljeep) 40x18.5 set up on some 15x14 black steel wheels, the only time I ever had steering issues was when my drag link was loose. other than that, I steer fine.

what about when you get into tight spaces in the rocks and things like that.  steering still alright.

Well mine is a little hard on tight spots,but i've got a buddie who owns a Zook running 33s,and his is also hard on tight spots....I think any time you run bigger,widder meats,you'll run into this.Some times the stock steering box is not up to it.I'm going to try to run a Howe steering box.

ran 35's X 15.5 X 15's with the stock j arm non power set up for years it was a bear to turn.
now it has a hysteer set up with power and is easy enough to steer
but comparativly I never had power before the hysteer cross over set up
kind of like driving a caddy now even with the 35's
