Which Radio???

I need some help from someone who know radios or who has experience with different radios.i am looking at either the Yaesu FT-1802M 2M 50Watt mobile TCVR, Yaesu FT-2800M 2M 65watt mobile TCVR, or the ICOM  IC-2200H 2M 65Watt mobile w/optional digital mode.If you have any other suggestions let me know. i am also looking for a good handheld unit for when i go hiking or snowboarding,basically whenever i dont have access to my rig.Thanks for the help guys

those are extremely big radios Yaesu is a really good brand try checking out unidens also if your thinking of getting a 2 meter radio other people you talk to also have to have a 2 meter radio your better getting an AM radio those are more popular. just my :twocents: I may be wrong anybody have an input on this please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a 1802, and yes it's quite a bit smaller than the 2800.  Also consider how you're going to mount it.  I have an external speaker, so it's not an issue for me, but if you don't consider the speaker placement, which is on the bottom of the 2800 and on the top of the 1802.
